Our new home — and a transformation we’re incredibly proud of — Mosmo Studio reimagines a 1980s former gallery into a purpose-built workspace filled with colour-blocking and playful, considered detail.

Within just 110m², the studio accommodates a meeting space for eight, materials library, construction and design offices, tea kitchen, visitor touchdown area and a quieter, more intimate meeting zone. A central pod anchors the plan, dividing the main meeting area from the designers’ studio, while concealing the materials library, construction office and kitchen beyond. The layout encourages natural collaboration between teams and easily adapts for studio lunches and presentations.

Retaining the building’s industrial bones — exposed beams, ducting, brickwork and polished concrete — we layered rich textures to create warmth and contrast. Marble, velvet and felt curtains, and a chunky wool rug soften the space, while a sheer curtain defines the visitor zone with a sense of calm.

Custom joinery ties each purpose-designed area together, balancing curved detailing with strong architectural gestures. The result is a layered, textural environment where focus, creativity and excitement comfortably coexist.
