An internal renovation to a beautiful Victorian bluestone home in St Peters, this project carefully balances heritage character with contemporary refinement.

The design approach respected the home’s original proportions and detailing, allowing period elements to remain the hero while introducing a calm, cohesive material palette. Warm timber joinery, softly curved forms and natural stone surfaces bring a sense of quiet luxury to the updated kitchen and living spaces.

Custom cabinetry was thoughtfully integrated to enhance functionality without overpowering the existing architecture. Sculptural lighting and tailored built-in seating add moments of subtle drama, while maintaining the home’s inherent elegance.

The result is a considered renovation — honouring the strength and craftsmanship of the original bluestone while elevating it for modern living.
